River Oaks Hospital is looking for a dynamic Registered Nurse. The Staff Nurse must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, based on physical, psychosocial, educational, safety and related criteria, appropriate to the age of the patients served.

Provide proper nursing care to all patients, consults with Physicians and other members of the treatment team. Previous experience in a mental health hospital setting is preferred. Ability to exhibit empathy, respect and compassion that involve understanding and care for patients.

Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing; current licensure with the Louisiana State Board of Nurses. Ability to clearly speak, write and understand verbal and written English. Previous experience in a psychiatric hospital or related inpatient setting preferred.
