Material Handlers

Pay Rate: $18.00/hour - $27.00/hour on W2, depending on experience

Work Schedule:

Day Shift: Monday to Friday | 7:30 am - 5:30 pm

Night Shift: Monday to Thursday | 5:00 pm - 3:30 am

Weekend Shift: Friday to Sunday | 5:00 am - 5:30 pm

Work Type: Onsite – Shreveport, LA 71107

Duration: 6-month contract with possibility of extension and/or conversion based on performance and other factors.

Additional Information: Standard License and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) are required.

Raise is currently hiring a Material Handler on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the movement, transportation, and storage of materials.

Load and unload shipments and transfer materials between storage areas and production lines.

Receive incoming materials.

Prepare and distribute materials to the designated production or assembly areas.

Maintain accurate records of all material transactions.

Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.

Adhere to all safety protocols and operational guidelines.

Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required.

3-5 years of forklift experience.

Experience in inventory management are preferred.

Experience in supply chain warehousing activities or equivalent roles are preferred.

Excellent problem-solving, verbal/written communication and organizational skills.

Basic knowledge Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint)

Demonstrates strong problem-solving abilities and sound decision-making skills.

Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
