Field Service Engineering Tech

As a Field Service Engineer I here at Honeywell, you will have the opportunity to provide essential technical support and expertise to our customers in the Gas Detection & Life Safety business unit. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, ensuring the successful implementation of our solutions, and contributing to customer satisfaction. You will report directly to our Field Service Supervisor and you’ll work out of our Canton, MA location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the efficiency and productivity of our customers' operations by delivering exceptional technical support and service at their facilities.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for our customers in a timely manner.

• Maintain customer equipment at customer facilities, while also creating maintenance plans.
• 75% overnight travel required.
• Provide technical support and expertise for our gas detection solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of our solutions.
• Conduct training sessions for customers and field service engineers.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in field service engineering or a related technical role.

Strong technical knowledge and expertise in electronics, pneumatics, etc.

Experience with relevant tools and technologies such as PLCs, SCADA systems, and industrial control systems.

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.

Experience in customer-facing roles and technical support.

Passport, for possible international travel.

General knowledge of SAP, Salesforce and Microsoft Windows.

The salary range for this position is ($71,100.00 - $88,800.00).
