Dishwasher - Culinary

Our recipes start with our favorite part: Our team! We are looking for a dedicated, organized dishwasher who enjoys working as part of a team in a fast-paced culinary environment. The dishwasher’s duties include removing soiled plates and flatware, washing them thoroughly. They may also restock items, unload delivery trucks, help prepare chop stations, clean appliances and machines, empty and clean trash and compost receptacles, and other duties, as needed. As our back of the house team, you will be tasked to create a warm and comfortable ambiance through outstanding operational support.

To be successful as a dishwasher, you should be a committed, communicative team player with excellent time management skills. You should be able to prioritize tasks in a busy setting and adhere to all food safety regulations and procedures.

Duties include:

Set up the wash station according to Crushed Red’s guidelines and standards.

Inspect and test sanitizer for proper temperature or chemical mix and properly set up the wash station.

Ensure all kitchen utensils and containers are washed and put back in the proper storage area.

Keep the wash room clean and organized.

Bag and haul kitchen trash to the dumpster and recycling bin.

Clean food preparation and production areas as required.

Compost leftover food per guidelines.

Perform other duties as assigned by Management staff.
