Responsibilities

Clinical Care: Provide dental hygiene services in a school-based setting, including screenings, sealants, fluoride application, and diagnostic radiographs.

Preventive Education: Counsel patients and communities on oral hygiene, nutrition, and the connection between dental health and overall wellness.

Operations & Documentation: Maintain clinical equipment and supplies while ensuring accurate patient charting and administrative tasks via dental software.

Communication : Act as a liaison by clearly reporting findings and necessary follow-up care to parents and guardians.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Dental Hygienist credentialed from the Wisconsin Dentistry Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education

High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Additional Preferences

Valid WI driver's license required to travel to different locations throughout the Milwaukee area.

Expected to work 8:00am - 3:00pm.
