Emergency Room RN - Travel Nurse - Local Contract

Contract Emergency Room Nurse - Milwaukee, WI - 15‑week assignment. Deliver high‑quality emergency care in a Level III Trauma Center while leveraging advanced cardiac skills and EMR proficiency. Earn competitive pay 13% above market, comprehensive benefits, and flexible travel or local placement.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high‑quality emergency care to patients with diverse medical conditions, including stroke, chest pain, and arrhythmias.

Interpret cardiac rhythms, initiate IVs, administer vasopressors, and manage TPA under protocol.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Monitor patients via bedside telemetry, assess clinical status continuously, and document findings in Epic EMR.

Participate in shift handoffs, maintain patient‑safety protocols, and support staff during high‑acuity situations.

Qualifications:

Registered Nurse (RN) license, valid in Wisconsin.

BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC, and NIH certifications.

Minimum 2 years of ER experience in a Level III Trauma Center.

Proficiency in Epic EMR and excellent cardiac rhythm interpretation.

Strong PIV insertion skills and ability to administer vasopressors and TPA.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and communicate effectively with team.
