Mortgage Loan Officer

The Mortgage Loan Officer is responsible for discussing member’s needs, recommending the best loan products, and helping the members put together complete loan submissions to be sent to the Mortgage Processors.

Assist mortgage loan borrowers to determine their needs and recommend the most beneficial loan products, while advising them throughout the entire loan process. Assist members to determine their needs and recommend the right loan products to help meet their goals.

Knowledgeable in various kinds of mortgage loans, including FHA and VA loans (preferred).

Monitor processing pipeline on a daily basis to ensure required documentation is received in a timely manner.

Complete GECU required mortgage lending BAI Training sessions.

High school diploma or GED required

At least one year of experience in mortgage lending

Ability to organize and analyze financial information

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
