Emergency Medical Technician
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled EMT to join our team in Houston, Texas. As an EMT, you will play a vital role in providing emergency medical care to patients in pre-hospital settings. Your primary responsibility will be to respond to emergency calls, assess patient conditions, and provide appropriate medical treatment and transport.
Key Responsibilities:

Respond promptly to emergency calls and provide first aid and medical care as needed.
Assess patients' conditions and vital signs, documenting information accurately.
Operate and maintain emergency medical equipment and vehicles.
Collaborate with paramedics and other healthcare professionals to ensure excellent patient care.
Communicate effectively with dispatch and medical personnel during emergencies.
Follow protocols and procedures for patient care and safety.
Maintain accurate patient records and complete reports as required.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with skills and knowledge.
Requirements:

Valid EMT certification (e.g., EMT-B, EMT-I) in the state of Texas.
Current CPR and AED certifications.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in high-pressure situations and remain calm under stress.
Physical stamina to perform duties, including lifting and transporting patients.
A valid Texas driver's license with a clean driving record.
