Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN specialized in Labor and Delivery for a travel assignment in Mount Pleasant, TX. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, challenging environment, managing obstetric patients and providing both routine and complex care.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Labor and Delivery

Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients
Address increasingly complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
Administer medications and treatments, monitor for side-effects and effectiveness of the treatment prescribed
Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given
Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and/or caregivers

Requirements of the RN - Labor and Delivery

• BLS certification required (AHA only)
• Current certification from one of the following: AWHONN Intermediate FHM or NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM)
• NRP and ACLS certification required (AHA only)
• RN License in the state of TX or compact
• 2 years of experience in the labor and delivery nursing specialty preferred
