Hospital Security Professional - Full Time

Schedule: 11:00 am - 9:30 pm, four 10-hour shifts, Tuesday - Friday

Patrol the hospital campus on foot, by vehicle, and by bike to promote safety, deter criminal activity and identify potential security concerns.
Respond quickly and professionally to service requests, including staff and patient escorts, vehicle assistance and public support.
Accurately document all incidents in accordance with department policy, ensuring timely and detailed reporting that supports safety and accountability.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Candidates must meet Salem Health's Fleet Safety Requirements and maintain eligibility to operate vehicles as part of their role to remain in good standing.
Prior relevant experience in security, law enforcement, or military police.
Department of Public Safety Standards and Training Unarmed Security certification completed within 30 days of hire.
Experience in healthcare security and customer service is highly desirable.
Working knowledge of Microsoft business products - Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
