Litigation Paralegal (remote flex)

Flynn Group seeks a Paralegal, Employment + Litigation to join its industry-recognized legal team. In this position, you will support an in-house legal practice that handles its own employment litigation and arbitration matters, as well as provides employment counsel and compliance support. This position is based in our San Francisco, CA Support Center, with the flexibility to work remotely on Fridays.

Position Summary Collaborating closely with the in-house attorneys in Flynn’s Employment and Compliance practices, the Paralegal, Employment and Litigation will play an integral role in supporting the employment litigation lifecycle for the team, as well as supporting important compliance initiatives. Responsibilities Draft various legal documents, including correspondence, pleadings, litigation templates, and memoranda; run tables of contents and authorities; create redline/blackline comparisons of documents; cite check briefs, proofread documents for errors.

Support workplace investigations by working with internal clients to collect, review, and summarize information and documents.

Assist with preparing written discovery and document production.

Assemble fact chronologies and key documents.

Conduct factual and legal research, support coordinating fact investigations, and prepare attorneys for depositions, hearings, and trial.

Maintain and update legal files following Legal Department electronic filing system procedures.

Assist with administration of Legal Department’s e-billing software, including creation of matters and reviewing and responding to outside counsel inquiries regarding same.

review and calendar due dates from documents, letters, and other mail received. Answer telephones, record messages, and return calls as necessary.

Schedule/calendar appointments such as depositions, production of documents, client meetings, trials, court hearings, and appearances.

Schedule messengers and other vendors for pick-up of documents for errands such as filings with court, delivery of documents to counsel and other types of errands.

Perform administrative functions, such as preparing check requests for vendor statements, expense reports, and other administrative tasks.

Provide guidance and support for legal administrative staff as needed.

Required Skills/Experience High school diploma required. Paralegal certificate is a plus.

3+ years of experience as a legal secretary, project assistant, or paralegal supporting litigators.

Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams) and Adobe Acrobat Professional. Experience with Legal Tracker/Seregenti is a plus.

Familiarity with e-mail scheduling tools in Microsoft Outlook and Teams.

Knowledgeable about state and federal local court rules and e-filing.
