Key Responsibilities of the Cardiac Sonographer – Echo Tech

Perform echocardiograms to assess cardiac structures and function
Utilize Doppler ultrasound to evaluate blood flow
Work collaboratively with healthcare team to interpret results
Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards
Requirements of the Cardiac Sonographer – Echo Tech

Minimum of 2 years of experience within specialty
BLS certification required
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) from ARDMS
Additional credential: Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or equivalent
