Please visit to learn more about our existing hotels, other exciting job opportunities and our company.**POSITION PROFILE**Respond to all engineering service calls, giving priority to guest requests, and maintain hotel equipment in an efficient, safe, accident-free manner. Ensure a safe, resourceful, and well-maintained hotel environment.**Perform preventive maintenance and necessary repairs on all hotel equipment, including kitchen, laundry, boiler, plumbing, pool, HVAC, electrical and guest rooms.* Take water samples of boiler, loop, and cooling tower systems and treat the water to maintain predetermined levels of chemical concentration.* Operate various equipment; maintain the domestic hot and cold-water systems and monitor various electrical switch gears to ensure proper operation.* Maintain the cleanliness and general maintenance duties in the engineering spaces as well as other assigned daily operations.* Make rounds of the hotel property to ensure everything is in working order.* Complete maintenance requests, take equipment and meter readings, and maintain log to notify the next shift.* Respond to all emergency situations including fire alarms, bomb threats, disasters and power failures; Handle operation of the boiler and chiller and maintaining temperatures throughout the building.* Assist with maintenance of parking lot and snow removal as needed.* Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.**REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES*** High school diploma or equivalent trade school, special courses in building maintenance and construction.* Ability to maintain and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing equipment and perform carpentry, repair work, construction and renovation work.* Communicate information and hotel services to management, staff and guests.* Two years prior experience in building maintenance and construction.**supplies, equipment and machinery.
