The posted compensation range of $18.15 - $28.13 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.As our Phlebotomist, you will primarily be responsible for the accurate collection and processing of blood samples and other specimens as defined by the site.Every day, you will provide a high level of customer service, addressing lab inquiries, clarifying test requirements, and providing other essential laboratory information. Your meticulous sample collection and professional patient interactions will be crucial to efficient lab operations and quality patient care.To be successful, you will demonstrate exceptional technical skill in phlebotomy, a strong commitment to accuracy and patient comfort, and excellent interpersonal skills for effective customer service.Performs venous, capillary, urine drug screen, swab collection, or other specimen collection as defined by site.Ensures quality collection of specimens, including appropriate sample container, sample volume, collection priority, and sample identification.Centrifuses, aliquots, and distributes samples to appropriate testing area.Prepares samples for offsite testing to include assessing appropriate sample type, container, and temperature.Required:High School Diploma or GEDBLS-CPR within 90 daysExcellent customer service and time management skillsPreferred:Phlebotomy certificate3 months phlebotomy in an acute care facilityLocated in Lakewood, Colorado, St. Anthony Hospital is a Level I Trauma Center where we provide a full range of medical specialties and health care services to Denver and the surrounding region through our state-of-the-art medical campus and home base for Flight For Life Colorado.
