Full-Time Dietary Aid

Are you passionate about food service and helping others? White Blossom Care Center is looking for a reliable Full-Time Dietary Aide. In this role, you will assist in preparing and serving nutritious meals to our residents while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming dining environment. 18.00 - $19.00 per hour

Full-Time

Full-time hours spread across the week, including some weekend rotation

Assist the cook in preparing meals, snacks, and beverages according to prescribed dietary plans.

Tray Assembly: Set up dining rooms and assemble food trays accurately based on resident diet cards.

Serve meals to residents with a friendly, helpful attitude.

Sanitation: Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, kitchen equipment, and dining areas after meals.

Inventory & Safety: Assist with unpacking, storing, and rotating food stocks while adhering to food safety standards.

Compliance: Follow all local health department regulations and facility safety guidelines.

Qualifications & Skills Experience: Previous food service experience in a healthcare or skilled nursing facility is preferred but not required.

Valid Food Handler's Permit (or willingness to obtain one upon hire).

Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions in English.

Soft Skills: Strong teamwork, a warm personality, and patience when interacting with elderly residents.
