About the Position

Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 3x12-hour shifts | 36 hours per week | Every other weekend and every other holiday
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit
Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions in accordance with care plans
Document patient assessments and care accurately using Meditech electronic health records
Float to similar units as needed to support staffing requirements
Required Qualifications
Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) License
Current BLS certification (American Red Cross or American Heart Association accepted)
Minimum of 3 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry nursing experience
Telemetry experience required
Meditech experience required
Travel nursing experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience floating to similar inpatient units
Familiarity with telemetry competency assessments administered during orientation
