Medical Assistant (MA)

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Job Type: Full-time | In-Person

About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant (MA) clinically competent patient care while maintaining strict adherence to operational policies, CDC guidelines, and regulatory frameworks.
Key Requirements & Qualifications
Education & Certification: Associate degree in medical assisting, graduation from an accredited vocational program, or an unrestricted Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential.
Clinical Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience (e.g., Primary Care, Urgent Care, Occupational Health).
Certifications: Active Basic Life Support (BLS) , Phlebotomy Certification (where state-required), and valid U.S. Driver's License.
Clearance: Must successfully pass a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation.
Health & Safety: Fully vaccinated per CDC guidelines and proof of/readiness for N95 Fit Testing.
Core Responsibilities
Patient Care: Interview patients, measure vital signs, record data, perform phlebotomy, collect lab specimens, and execute diagnostic tests (e.g., EKGs, PFTs).
Administrative Duties: Handle front/back-office operations, appointment scheduling, EMR data entry, document retrieval, and inventory management.
Compliance & Safety: Enforce HIPAA protocols, maintain clinic housekeeping standards, support emergency responses, and collaborate with clinical leadership on quality assurance.
Physical & Mental Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, lift/carry up to 50 lbs , handle fine motor tasks, manage stress, and multitask effectively in a high-expectation customer-facing environment.
