You are responsible for providing direct patient care, medical transport, performing equipment checks and maintenance, as well as handling station upkeep and housekeeping duties, along with other related tasks as needed.**Safely operating and maintaining emergency vehicles in compliance with laws.* Interacting professionally with healthcare personnel.* Documenting information accurately in our charting system.* Maintaining equipment, ensuring cleanliness, and restocking supplies.* Adhering to company and local agency policies and protocols.* Maintain clear and consistent communications with the Dispatch Center* May be required to administer first aid to injured coworkers when necessary.**Qualifications:*** High school diploma or GED equivalent required* Current EMT certification* Valid driver’s license and good driving record* Current CPR* Good communication and interpersonal skills**Physical Demands:*** Ability to safely operate EMS vehicles and essential equipment* Bend, sit, kneel, and lift up to 125 lbs; push/pull objects over 50 lbs* Maintain physical agility for safe patient handling in demanding environments* Tolerate extended periods of driving or riding in an ambulance* Perform effectively in physically strenuous and emotionally challenging situations**Other Duties:**Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
