Full Time/Part Time Regular Full Time Total Hours Per Week 40 From Salary $45.60 To Salary $45.60

Job Summary
The Registered Nurse provides comprehensive health care services for individuals residing in Saint Dominic’s Family Services; oversees the health activities in the residence; and assures optimal health care services for the individuals in accordance with the philosophy and objectives of the agency.

Duties & Responsibilities

Maintain person-centered care by conducting health assessments.

Coordinate medical services and ensure individuals receive appropriate treatment and follow-up.

Manage medical records and oversee medication administration and compliance.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, families, and healthcare providers.

Schedule appointments, accompany individuals when needed, and provide staff training on health-related topics.

Be available for emergencies, advocate for individuals’ well-being, and ensure all care meets state and agency regulations.

Education & Experience

Current NYS License to practice as a Registered Nurse required. (Minimum ASN)

Three (3) years of experience working as a Registered Nurse and knowledge of developmental disabilities preferred OR two (2) years of experience working as an RN, plus two years working in a developmental disabilities or mental health agency.

Physical Requirements
The employee must communicate clearly and effectively and may occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.
