Anesthesiologist
General Anesthesiology
Healthcare Setting: Outpatient surgical center
Shift Length: 16-hour day shifts
Case Mix: Primarily urology and GI, with occasional endoscopy
Call Schedule: No in-house call, pager call, or weekend call required
Active physician license required
O. degree from an accredited medical school
Completion of an approved anesthesiology residency
ECFMG and FLEX required, if applicable
At least 1 year of anesthesia experience preferred
Ability to obtain emergency privileges in a timely manner
Comfort working with adult patients only
Direct and coordinate anesthesia department activities
Provide medical management for patients undergoing surgery and other procedures
Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and assessments
Discuss anesthetic options, risks, and procedures with patients
Induce, maintain, and emerge patients from anesthesia
Collaborate with the care team in both supervisory and hands-on anesthesia settings
