Bartender - Evening - Hotel Bar

Bartender Position

We are seeking an experienced and personable bartender to provide excellent service to guests in our hotel bar. The ideal candidate should have great customer service, communication, and organizational skills.

Compensation: $16 - $20 hourly

Key Responsibilities:

Verify customers' identification to ensure they meet the legal drinking age.

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers.

Mix traditional and creative cocktails.

Maintain cleanliness of the bar area.

Keep track of inventory and restock as needed.

Handle cash transactions and process payments.

Open and maintain tabs for customers during their visit.

Build rapport with regular customers to create a positive and welcoming atmosphere.

Collaborate with other staff to ensure efficient service.

Comply with all health and safety regulations (OSHA, HAZCOM, Blood Borne Pathogens).

Requirements:

Must be at least 21 years old (or legal drinking age in your area).

At least 2 years of bartending experience.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to handle cash transactions accurately.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.

Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Follow all company safety and security policies.

Physical Demands:

Regularly required to walk, stand, use hands, and reach with hands and arms.

Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
