Travel Med/Surg RN
This is a 13-week contract position.
Nights, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM; floating and call required.
We are seeking a skilled Travel Med/Surg RN to join our General Medical-Surg Inpatient Nursing Unit. The role involves providing general med-surg nursing duties and may include care for occasional non-critical pediatric patients. The nurse will work with a patient ratio of 1:6 and should be adaptable to a flexible work environment.
Responsibilities:

Performing general medical-surgical nursing duties.
Caring for an assigned patient load while maintaining high standards of nursing practice.
Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
Monitoring and documenting patient conditions and progress.
Collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience required.
BLS certification is required.
ACLS and PALS certifications are preferred.
Current nursing license in the state of practice, with fingerprint requirement for New Mexico travelers.
