Dosimetrist / Hospital

Provide radiation therapy treatments and function as an essential member of the radiation oncology treatment team in order to provide quality care to our patients. Demonstrate competency to deliver a planned course of radiation therapy accurately and safely. Use appropriate machine settings to deliver treatment while visually monitoring the patient and treatment console during treatment. Performs and maintains Quality Assurance activities.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Graduate of an accredited school of radiation therapy technology.

ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required.

Two years’ experience as a radiation therapist preferred.
