Overview:
Join a private EMS company providing 911 emergency services and inter-facility transfers (IFTs) in Port Arthur, TX. This is a 16-week assignment designed for experienced paramedics looking for a structured, rotational schedule with competitive pay and provided lodging.
Assignment Details:
Duration: 16 weeks
Schedule: 14 days on / 14 days off (Wednesday to Wednesday)
Shift Length: 12-hour shifts
Compensation: $6,220 per 14-day work period
Travel Stipend: $400 included in pay
Pay Frequency: Biweekly
Call Volume: Average of 4 to 7 calls per 12-hour shift
Lodging: Provided during scheduled work weeks only
Responsibilities:
Provide emergency medical services and patient transport.
Respond to 911 calls and perform inter-facility transfers.
Deliver high-quality patient care in both emergency and non-emergency settings.
Requirements:
~ Minimum of 2–3 years paramedic experience.
Work Schedule May Include:
Day and evening shifts.
Night and overnight shifts.
Weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Certifications Required:
BLS Certification (Required).
PALS Certification (Required).
ACLS Certification (Required).
Texas EMS or EMS Compact State License (Required).
