Head of Operations Management (m/w/d)

The Operations Manager owns the day-to-day execution of everything that keeps a location running: warehouse operations, delivery and pickup scheduling, field crew supervision, inventory and equipment readiness, and client satisfaction on the ground. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives on solving problems in real time and building a team that delivers flawlessly, event after event.

Operations & Logistics

Ensure on-time setup and breakdown of rental equipment at every event

Manage the fleet, including maintenance schedules and compliance

Team Management

Lead and schedule warehouse, field, and delivery staff, flexing labor to match volume

Train the team on equipment handling, safety, and customer service standards

Build a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement

Inventory & Equipment

Manage inventory flow, including incoming/outgoing rental items, repairs, and loss prevention

Run regular audits to keep equipment accurate and event-ready

Partner with purchasing to maintain the right stock levels

Customer Service & Quality Control

Be the go‑to for operational escalations and on‑site event issues

Administrative & Reporting

Maintain compliance with safety regulations and company policy

Report on operations regularly and flag opportunities to improve processes

Proven experience (3+ years) in operations management, preferably in the event rental, logistics, or hospitality industry

Strong leadership and team management skills

Excellent organizational and time management abilities

Knowledge of inventory systems and logistics software is a plus

Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Valid driver's license and clean driving record (CDL is a plus)
