Director Of OperationsThe Director of Operations will take ownership of a core production function, ensuring safe, efficient, and predictable execution across all operational areas. This role is responsible for performance, quality, cost control, and team development, while working cross functionally to keep production aligned with company goals.This is not a short term execution role. The ideal candidate will operate as a business owner of their function, developing forward looking operational plans, aligning capacity and labor, and implementing systems that support long term growth.The role requires a strong leader of leaders, capable of driving accountability, improving processes, and building a high performing team in a fast paced production environment.Key Responsibilities:Own full operational performance including safety, quality, delivery, and costDevelop and manage production and staffing plans aligned with forecastsLead and develop managers through coaching and accountabilityEstablish KPIs and drive performance improvements across operationsIdentify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce wasteEnsure standardized processes are followed and continuously improvedManage operational risks and implement preventative strategiesCommunicate performance and strategic plans to leadershipBuild team structure, training programs, and succession plansDevelop long term operational roadmaps aligned with company growthQualifications:7+ years of operational leadership experience in manufacturing or productionProven ability to lead leaders and manage large teamsStrong understanding of production systems and process improvementExperience with budgeting, cost control, and labor planningExperience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvementStrong analytical and problem solving skillsExcellent communication and leadership abilitiesHands on, ownership driven leadership styleLocation : Newark, NJType : Full time, in personSalary : $175,000-$250,000/year Swift Staffing Group
