Role Description:
CVETS is seeking a skilled and compassionate full-time or part-time, on-site Emergency Veterinarian to join our growing emergency team in Columbia, SC. This is an exciting opportunity to provide critical care within a supportive and progressive environment. The Emergency Veterinarian will be responsible for triaging, diagnosing, and treating a wide variety of emergency and critical care cases, collaborating with our specialists, and contributing to the overall advancement of veterinary medicine at CVETS. This role requires a highly motivated individual with a strong commitment to providing immediate and life‑saving care to our patients.

Requirements:

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an accredited institution.

Licensure to practice veterinary medicine in South Carolina (or eligibility for licensure).

Strong clinical skills in emergency medicine and critical care.

Excellent diagnostic and problem‑solving abilities, especially under pressure.

Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with clients and colleagues.

Demonstrated commitment to providing high‑quality and timely patient care.
