Rome Health is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for a 13-week assignment in its Medical-Surgical Acute Care unit in Rome, New York. This position is ideal for nurses with acute care experience and a strong background in step-down or telemetry nursing.
The RN will provide high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients, monitor patient conditions, administer treatments, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes.
Important: This is a weekend-only position requiring 12-hour day shifts.
Assess, monitor, and provide nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in an acute care setting.
Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
Provide care for patients requiring step-down and telemetry monitoring.
Administer medications and treatments according to provider orders and facility protocols.
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
Float to other units as required by the facility.
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license appropriate for the assignment.
1–2 years of step-down and/or telemetry experience required.
Ability to care for adult and geriatric patients in an acute care environment.
Previous travel nursing experience is highly preferred. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
