Phlebotomy/Phlebotomist (Healthcare)

Assist with every step of the blood collection process at fixed-site donor centers
Personally connect with donors, listen to their stories, and explain the impact of their donations
Collaborate with teammates to create a welcoming and comfortable environment for volunteer donors
Follow safety procedures while collecting lifesaving blood donations
Ensure collected blood meets goals, regulatory requirements, and transfusion-safety standards
Work between donor centers in Cleveland, Parma, and Akron, Ohio
Requirements Associates degree OR a combination of education and work experience is required
Minimum of one year customer service experience in public setting is required
A current, valid driver's license with a good driving record is required
Ability to lift, push or pull heavy weights up and down ramps and stairs
Good manual dexterity
Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
Ability to adapt to long, irregular hours and frequent schedule changes
Basic computer skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Prior healthcare or phlebotomy experience (CNA, MA, EMT, etc.) preferred
Prior leadership experience preferred
Core Competencies Demonstrates proficiency in blood collection processes while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Strong customer service skills and the ability to create a welcoming environment for donors are essential.
