TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Evansville, Indiana, 47710!

Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical
Contract (13 Weeks) | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM, 12-Hour Shifts) | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week
Provide direct patient care on a 41-bed Medical-Surgical unit serving a population that includes post-surgical, UTI, sepsis, high fall risk, COPD, and CHF patients
Perform and manage clinical skills including remote telemetry monitoring, chest tube care, NG/PEG tube management, straight cath/Foley insertion, ostomy care, Heparin drip administration, blood/blood product administration, tracheostomy care, and PCA management
Maintain a patient ratio of 1:4–5 during day shifts and exercise strong assessment and critical thinking skills throughout each shift
Adhere to weekend and holiday rotation requirements, including three weekends per six-week schedule and every other holiday
May be required to precept nursing students and new hires as this is a teaching facility
Current, active Compact RN License
Minimum of 2 years of strong Medical-Surgical nursing experience
At least 1 prior travel nursing assignment
Recent Epic EMR experience required (checkoff class will be required upon start)
Demonstrated proficiency with remote telemetry, complex wound care, and high-acuity Med-Surg patient management
Work alongside experienced unit leadership with CNA support in a structured, team-focused environment
Gain diverse clinical exposure through a float structure that expands cross-campus experience within a well-established health system
