Home care is a different job than working in a hospital or nursing facility, and the CNAs who do best with us know that going in. In a facility, you may care for many residents in one shift and move quickly from task to task. At Assisting Hands Home Care, you care for one client at a time, in their home, often for several hours. You will help with personal care, but much of your time is spent with your client: talking, cooking together, taking a walk, and keeping them engaged.

Being good company is a core part of this role, not an extra.

Responsibilities:

Companionship, conversation, and activities that keep clients engaged

Assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility

Meal preparation and light housekeeping

Running errands and accompanying clients to appointments

Documenting each visit and reporting changes promptly

Requirements:

Active North Carolina CNA certification or PCA

Reliable transportation (not necessary to provide transportation for clients)

Consistent availability and a strong attendance record

Ability to follow care plans and instructions independently

What We Offer:

Pay: $16-$18 per hour
