leader who understands Regional Center systems, Title 17 compliance, staffing management, and person-centered
The Director of Operations & Programs will oversee daily operations across all divisions of the organization, including
Staff supervision and accountability
- Program compliance
- Operational structure and scaling
- Client and family relationship management The ideal candidate is highly organized, solutions-oriented, emotionally
intelligent, and capable of building systems while maintaining compassionate service delivery.
Operations Management
- Oversee daily operations for transportation and community-based programs
- Develop and implement operational systems, workflows, and accountability structures
- Monitor productivity, punctuality, staffing coverage, and service quality
Ensure compliance with DDS, Regional Center, and Title 17 regulations
- Review documentation, progress reports, and service implementation
- Lead hiring, onboarding, training, and retention efforts• Conduct performance evaluations and disciplinary procedures
- Develop staff training systems and operational protocols
- Supervise transportation operations and dispatch structure
- Ensure vehicle, driver, and safety compliance standards are maintained
Assist with scaling operations and improving organizational infrastructure
• Build relationships with Regional Centers, service coordinators, families, and community partners
Experience working with Regional Centers and/or DDS-funded services
- Strong HR and staff management experience
- Knowledge of Title 17 regulations and compliance
- Experience managing teams in healthcare, social services, transportation, or behavioral health settings
- Experience in NEMT or transportation operations
- Bilingual (Spanish preferred)
- Experience developing policies, procedures, and operational systems
