You will make a difference at Dial by not only adding years to resident's lives, but life to their years.Perks & Benefits:Birthday & anniversary PTOTuition AssistanceDouble pay on holidaysPTO accrual on DAY 1Referral BonusFree meal during shift (Up to $260 savings)Loyalty IncentiveEmployee Recognition ProgramDiscounts through Verizon and AT&TPay Advance ProgramMedical and Prescription Drug Insurance including Dental and VisionBasic Term Life/AD&D401KPosition OverviewThis position will provide essential care to our residents by assisting them with activities of daily living while ensuring wellbeing and safety.Essential Job ResponsibilitiesResponsible for providing services to each resident according to the resident service plan.Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, eating, hygiene, and mobility.Monitor health, safety and well-being of the residents by taking and recording vitals, reporting nuances to supervisor.Support resident mobility by assisting with transfers, positioning, walking, and using mobility aids as needed.Document information pertaining to changes in residents' functional status, personal needs, appointments, etc.Maintain an accurate record of chargeable services and submit record to supervisor by the designated date each month.Respond promptly to call signals and resident emergencies, assisting with their immediate need or contacting emergency support.Assist with minor housekeeping of residents' apartments, including laundry if applicable.Maintain clean and sanitary resident spaces, adhering to infection control protocols.Encourage socialization among residents and promote activities, chaperoning and assisting as requested.Maintain confidentiality of verbal and written information pertaining to residents, facility operations, and personnel.Report on-the-job injuries to the supervisor before the end of the work shift on the day the injury occurs.Attend regularly scheduled staff meetings and in-servicesOther duties as assignedEducation, Experience and Other RequirementsCertified Nurse's Aide Certification and active with state Nurse Aid RegistryBasic First Aid TrainingHigh school diploma or GEDKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities RequiredPromote teamwork in providing services to residentStrong communication and interpersonal skillsCompassionate, patient, and dedicated to providing excellent careAbility to follow directives and work effectively in a team environmentSkills in nurturing and interest in working with older adultsPreferred QualificationsPrevious experience in senior livingSix months working in a healthcare setting
