ECHOCARDIOGRAPHER

Join Anna Jaques Hospital (AJH), a not-for-profit community hospital located in Newburyport, Massachusetts, 35 miles northeast of Boston. AJH is part of the Beth Israel Lahey Health system.

Responsibilities

Perform high quality Diagnostic echocardiograms to evaluate cardiac function, including transthoracic, transesophageal, bubble studies, and stress echocardiograms.

Assure that professional care is provided and the appropriateness of study is maintained.

Assist cardiologist with exams as needed, real‑time documentation of video and detection of pathology for patients of all ages, following department protocol.

Communicate findings to physicians and other healthcare team members.

Follow established protocols and standards for echocardiogram examinations and equipment.

Perform related diagnostic imaging functions and computer use in an accurate and timely manner.

Maintain appropriate documentation for regulatory standards and medical record while safeguarding patient confidentiality.

Stay current with new developments in echocardiography and continuing education opportunities.

Pay Range: $46.00 - $68.35

Additional compensation may include shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime, and other additional pay practices, in accordance with the law.

All staff must be vaccinated against influenza as a condition of employment.
