Service Manager
Linder Industrial Machinery Company is recognized as one of the nation's premier heavy equipment dealers providing quality new, used and rental equipment across 27 branch locations in Florida, Georgia, Virginia, South Carolina, and North Carolina. Linder's commitment to delivering superior industrial machinery solutions is shared by our leading equipment partners such as Komatsu, BOMAG, Deutz Fahr, Atlas, Konecranes, Mantsinen, Superior Brooms, Terramac, and many more.

Responsible for the efficient, profitable, and safe operation of the service department.

Oversee all services and workspaces in shop and field

Submit warranty claims daily

Delegate and direct service tasks; monitor the progress of all current and pending projects

Consistently deliver positive customer service experience to customers by offering knowledge, advice, and answering questions and concerns

Act as a source of information for all service, inventory, and product-knowledge concerns and work process matters

Manage and update invoices

Process new orders and track inventory

Help train new employees in company procedures, including safety and work processes

Stay up to date on industry standards and any new innovations, materials, tools and/or processes that can benefit the company

Other tasks as requested by management

A dynamic Service Manager with a proven track record in customer service

Proficient in use of computers

Spanish is a plus

Works well under pressure and manages stressful situations with ease

Strong customer service and salesmanship skills

General knowledge of maintenance, repair, parts department functions

Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills

High School Diploma or GED
