Base pay range: $18.00/hr - $25.00/hr .

The full job description can be made available as part of the hiring process. This role supports the meat department and involves cutting, wrapping, packaging, and maintaining meat quality for members.

Responsibilities Be a Team Member: Collaborates with other associates to build a strong meat team; communicates with team members; and can work in other areas as needed.

Be an Expert: Demonstrates knowledge of floor and backroom operations, product safety standards, sanitation guidelines, inventory management, and the operation, maintenance, and sanitization of equipment; prepares (e.g., cutting, grinding, wrapping, trimming) meat products according to standards; cuts boneless meat products; maintains product quality standards.

Be a Techie: Uses digital tools to drive sales, enhance the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; uses handheld technology to make decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adopts new tools and encourages others to use them.

Be an Owner: Maintains operational excellence; ensures quality and date control; secures fragile and high-shrink merchandise; eliminates waste; assists members with purchasing decisions; ensures merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored per policies.

Be a Talent Ambassador: Acts as an advocate for the department and club by valuing the member experience in the meat area and modelling high-quality service and products; demonstrates energy, commitment, and passion for the work.

Complies with company policies, procedures, and ethics; follows the Open Door Policy; incorporates these in business processes.
