Quality Engineer | Lockheed Martin

Lockheed Martin is seeking a motivated and driven Quality Engineer for a position based in Grand Prairie, TX supporting the PrSM program. The position will require working flexible hours with some travel to support Lockheed Martin production sites and suppliers across the United States. Our team is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality evaluation and control systems to ensure the production of high-quality materials and products.

What You Will Be Doing: As the Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for leading quality engineering efforts, developing and implementing quality standards, and ensuring compliance with requirements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks and drive continuous improvement in our processes and products. Reviewing contractual documents in detail to identify requirements and risks

Leading quality engineering efforts and developing quality standards

Ensuring compliance with customer's regulatory requirements and industry standards

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks

Analyzing and resolving complex quality issues

You will collaborate across Engineering, Manufacturing, Sub-Contracting, and Program Management, directly influencing supplier performance and program health while delivering measurable impact on mission-critical deliverables.

Previous Engineering or Quality Assurance Experience

Experience with AS9102 First Article Inspection

Experience with or certification in lean manufacturing/Lean Six Sigma

Experience with Process Capability Analysis

Strong communication (both oral and written) will be necessary to support effective communication across multiple functions and to customer.

Ability to work remotely

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Ability to Telecommute

Part time telecommuting

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
