Referral and Scheduling coordinator

Join our dedicated outpatient team at the Shreveport clinic, where patient-centered care is our top priority, In this role you will directly report to the Center Administrator and play an important part in delivering high-quality clinical support to our Patients

Shreveport clinic address: Overview of Referral Coordinator Job Functions:

Prepares and processes all managed care referral paperwork.

Contacts various offices/facilities to obtain necessary appointments for completing referrals.

Maintains referral records and files documentation.

Responds to patient inquiries regarding health plan referrals.

Referral experience is MANDATORY

Proficient with medical terminology

Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

Experience with Electronic Medical Records

Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare or Business Administration

Knowledge of ICD 10 and CPT coding

Bilingual in English and Spanish

Medical Assistant or Professional State Certifications related to healthcare

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
