Hourly Rate: $17.20 - $18.00

Cook I is responsible for preparing center meals, establishing menu, and determining quantities of food needed.

Plans and coordinates procedures necessary for day‑to‑day operations of center dining facility.

Cook I maintains complete inventory file on food and equipment, ensures minimum waste through efficient storage, inventory, and food utilization.

Maintains strict safety and sanitation codes and procedures.

High School diploma or equivalent required.

2+ years’ food preparation training and related work experience preferred.

Must possess or be able to obtain a ServSafe food safety certification.

Required to pass a drug screen in compliance with our Substance Abuse and Drug‑Free Workplace policy.

Job Corps is the largest nationwide residential career training program in the country and has been operating for more than 60 years.
