Security OfficerMarana Health is seeking a Security Officer to join the Security team at the Wilmot Health Center, located in the heart of Marana, AZ.The Security Officer conducts public safety patrols and security checks around grounds, parking lots, and buildings of MH properties to ensure the safety of staff, patients, visitors, and the community.Marana Health is a Federally Qualified Community Health Center (FQHC), with 11 sites in Tucson and Pima County. Our mission is to improve our community by providing exceptional, whole-person healthcare.High school diploma or equivalent2 years' experience in Private Security, Law Enforcement, Corrections, Social Services, or a related fieldBasic Life Support (BLS) certification (may be completed with MH upon hire)First Aid certification (may be completed with MH upon hire)Fingerprint Clearance Card through the Arizona Department of Public SafetyCurrent Arizona driver's license with clean driving record and proof of current vehicle insurance (39-month MVR will be run by MH)The following qualifications are preferred:Valid AZ DPS Guard CardBilingual (English/Spanish)Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered if applicable and must be directly related to the functions and body of knowledge required to successfully perform the job.Computer proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and email protocol.Excellent customer service, organizational, and communication skills with emphasis on responsiveness, building trust, mutual respect, and courtesy.Maintains a safe and secure environment through the enforcement of security measures according to established protocols.Acts as a deterrent to criminal activity by providing a visible security presence, standing post, and performing regular roving patrols.Regularly patrols property grounds and parking lots to discourage trespassing and unauthorized entrance to facilities or buildings.Provides daily shift reports and documents any relevant incidences according to established incident reporting procedures.Recognizes and reports any unsafe conditions and security violations including unsecured doors and problems with buildings, such as floods, fire, or potential equipment problems.Checks emergency egress paths to ensure doors and paths are not blocked and immediately reports and responds to issues.Escorts staff to and from their cars as needed.Provides directions and escorts visitors, patients, and members of the community to their appropriate destinations as needed.Follows all established policies and procedures and prioritizes and emphasizes safety.Benefits:Marana Health's vision is to be the premier provider and employer in community health.
