It is our mission to serve the residents of Staten Island through the provision of high quality, affordable and accessible health services.Join the Clove Lakes Family and help us achieve our mission!Perdiem needed flexible schedules, must work E/O weekend!Pay rate: $36.54-40.19/hrPaid time off (starting with 2 weeks' vacation, 15 sick days, 10 holidays, 2 personal days and your birthday!)Medical, dental and prescription coveragePensionTuition assistanceChildcare assistanceOther union benefitsSome of your licensed practical nurse (LPN) job responsibilities include:Admissions, discharge and transfers of residentsMedication requisitions with pharmacy and physiciansMedication administrationFollowing infection control, emergencies, and other center policiesCollaborating with resident's interdisciplinary team to provide the best outcomesIdentifying and reporting all abnormal changes in residents' condition to proper personnel per center policyWorks under direct supervision in accordance with the state-specific nurse practice act, facility policies and procedures, and nursing judgment.Delivers nursing care to patients/residents requiring long-term or rehabilitative care.Collects patient/resident data, makes observations, and reports pertinent information related to the care of the patient/resident.According to state-specific regulations, implements the patient/resident plan of care and evaluates the patient/resident response.In accordance with state-specific regulations, directs and supervises care given by other nursing personnel in selected situations.Maintains knowledge of equipment set-up, maintenance and use, i.e., Maintains confidentiality and patient/resident rights, regarding all patient/resident/personnel information.Licensed practical nurse (LPN) qualifications:LPN (licensed practical nurse) licensed by the stateCPR certification requiredTwo years prior nursing experience preferred
