This position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center located in Clarksville, Tennessee. Here, you will collaborate closely with a team of healthcare professionals, including physical therapy assistants and physicians, within a supportive and engaging environment. Your work will focus on direct patient interaction, using evidence-based practices to facilitate recovery and rehabilitation for our patients.

Develop and implement comprehensive physical therapy treatment plans to address individual patient needs, focusing on enhancing function, alleviating pain, and promoting optimal performance.

Supervise physical therapy assistants to ensure the accurate and effective delivery of care according to established plans.

Recommend modifications to patients' home environments to foster safety and independence in daily activities.

Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to share insights and contribute to collaborative care discussions focused on patient outcomes.

Provide education and training to patients and their families about therapy techniques and assistive devices, promoting active participation in recovery.

Adhere to all relevant federal, state, and local regulations regarding physical therapy practice and patient care.

Engage in continuous professional development to stay abreast of advancements in physical therapy practices and methodologies.

Our clinic serves a diverse population including individuals recovering from surgical procedures, trauma, and those suffering from chronic pain and mobility impairments. You will work with patients of varying age groups, primarily focusing on orthopedic conditions ranging from musculoskeletal injuries to post-operative rehabilitation.

Valid degree in Physical Therapy, with an emphasis on Orthopedic rehabilitation preferred.

A minimum of one year of professional experience in physical therapy, particularly in acute care or home care settings.

Current licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in Tennessee and valid CPR certification.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, fostering positive relationships with patients and team members.

In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and governing agency regulations applicable to physical therapy practice.

A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required for travel to patient appointments, when necessary.

Experience working with orthopedic cases, particularly in a rehabilitation or outpatient setting, will be highly regarded. Familiarity with patient-centered care approaches and the use of electronic health record (EHR) systems will enhance your ability to thrive in this role.
