This role is ideal for individuals with experience in customer service, retail, reception, or administrative support who are interested in building a long-term career in healthcare. You'll receive hands-on training, work alongside experienced professionals, and gain valuable knowledge of medical referrals, insurance verification, and patient coordination.

What You'll Do As a Referral Coordinator, you'll play an important role in helping patients access the care they need by ensuring referrals and insurance requirements are completed accurately and efficiently.

Obtain referrals from primary care physician offices for scheduled patient visits

• Serve as a liaison between patients, physician offices, insurance carriers, and internal departments
• Collaborate with patient services and billing teams to support seamless patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation and records within electronic medical systems
• Assist with phone communication and patient inquiries

High school diploma or equivalent

• At least 1 year of customer-facing experience
• Customer service
• Reception
• Front desk
• Administrative support
• Experience working with a multi-line phone system or high call volume

Healthcare or medical office experience

• Front desk or patient registration experience
• Experience with Epic or other electronic medical record systems
• Referral, scheduling, or insurance verification experience

Comprehensive training and development program

Fast-paced specialty clinic setting

• Full-time
• 8-hour shifts
• Availability required between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday
• This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Golden, CO.
• Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
