Job Type: Full-Time | Three 10-hour shifts — 6a–4p, 1p–11p, 4p–2a; 15 shifts/month
We have partnered closely with a premier regional healthcare facility to recruit a full-time, Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) Emergency Medicine Physician . Provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients within a modern, 32-bed Emergency Department.
Manage a highly comfortable patient pace averaging fewer than two encounters per hour.
Collaborate seamlessly with a second on-duty physician, maintaining double-physician coverage at all times.
Work a predictable rotation of 15 shifts per month utilizing three structured 10-hour blocks (6:00 AM–4:00 PM, 1:00 PM–11:00 PM, or 4:00 PM–2:00 AM).
Coordinate patient care with on-site specialties, including the hospital’s dedicated inpatient psychiatric department.
Maintain thorough, accurate, and timely electronic medical records for all patient encounters.
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution.
Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Emergency Medicine (or a relevant specialty with extensive ED experience).
Active, unrestricted Illinois state medical license (or immediate eligibility to obtain).
Valid DEA registration.
75,000 sign-on bonus structured over 3 years.
