Food Server Restaurant Airport

Our busy restaurant is looking for servers with a friendly smile and a cheerful customer service attitude to set the tone for our guests to enjoy their dining experience with us. You will serve our guests in the restaurant by ensuring that they are seated promptly, their orders are taken, prepared, and served timely, and that tables are cleaned and ready for the next guests. Our ideal candidate maintains a friendly and courteous demeanor toward our guests and coworkers while providing exceptional customer service to our guests. Responsibilities: • Greet customers, take food and beverage orders from diners, serve orders promptly, and accommodate any special needs or requests • Receive proper payment from the guest and ensure the accuracy of the guest check and method of payment to protect both the customer and the restaurant from transaction errors • Attend all pre-shift and departmental meetings to improve communications and develop an understanding of products, services, and facilities • Perform all restocking and cleaning activities as directed, including opening and closing duties • Establish a full knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials to respond to client inquiries and make recommendations Qualifications: • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent certification (GED) • Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers • Displays impeccable time management and organizational skills • We prefer some experience working in the food service industry • Must have a strong focus on putting the guest first with exceptional customer service experience Compensation: $16 per hour
