Traveling Cardio Vascular Nurse Position
A reputable healthcare facility near Springfield, Illinois is seeking a skilled registered nurse for a traveling Cardio Vascular Nurse position in the CVICU. The role involves providing specialized care to cardiac patients, with a preference for candidates with open heart experience.
Titrate IV drips under hospital protocols, including vasoactive medications.
Interpret telemetry strips accurately from monitors, ensuring patient safety.
Document patient status and interventions thoroughly in electronic medical records.
Hold valid Illinois RN license and current ACLS and BCLS certifications.
Have proficiency in pulling sheaths, CRRT management, and telemetry interpretation.
Demonstrate familiarity with Level 2 trauma or higher ICU settings.
Be willing to work one night shift per assignment.
Experience with ventilators, Cpap, BiPap, and other respiratory equipment preferred.
Enhance critical care expertise in a fast-paced CVICU environment.
