Emergency Veterinarian Technician

Ferber's Animal Hospital in Pembroke Pines, FL is looking for a passionate and skilled Veterinary Technician to join our dedicated team! Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and medical procedures
Collect and process laboratory samples including blood draws, urinalysis, and cytology
Perform and assist with diagnostic imaging including X-rays and ultrasounds
Maintain accurate patient medical records using veterinary practice management software
Ensure exam rooms, surgical suites, and equipment are clean and properly sterilized
Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) or Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) preferred
Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or animal hospital setting
Proficiency in venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and anesthesia monitoring
Strong knowledge of animal handling and restraint techniques for various species
Ability to remain calm and compassionate in high-stress or emergency situations
Familiarity with veterinary practice management software is a plus
