Full Time Emergency Veterinarian

Elk Grove Veterinary Specialty and Emergency is looking for a full-time Emergency Veterinarian to join our team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community in Elk Grove, IL.

W hile you’re committed to the success of your patients, we’re equally committed to yours— supporting you through high-stakes moments, unexpected emergencies, and the times when compassion makes all the difference. You’ll provide emergency care for sick and injured patients while also managing hospitalized cases. You’ll assess and diagnose patients, develop and oversee treatment plans, and partner closely with technicians to ensure high-quality execution of care. Your work will include performing surgeries, delivering critical care, and maintaining an exceptional standard of service for every patient who enters our emergency department.

Compensation is negotiable based on credentials and experience with an annual PROSAL full-time range starting at $180 K /year. Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent degree required
State Veterinary Board License:
E xperience in emergency medicine or completion of small animal rotating or emergency internships is highly recommended
