Roofer / Roofing Contractor

RooferAerotek on behalf of its clients are looking for roofers for a residential contractor in the Seattle area. The ideal candidate will have experience installing, repairing, and maintaining residential roofing systems while working safely and efficiently. ResponsibilitiesInstall, repair, and replace residential roofing systems including asphalt shingles, metal roofing, and other materials.Remove old roofing materials and prepare roof surfaces for installation.Measure and cut roofing materials to fit project specifications.Install underlayment, flashing, ventilation systems, and waterproof barriers.Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment.Maintain a clean and organized job site.Work effectively with crew members, supervisors, and homeowners.Qualifications1+ years of residential roofing experience preferred.Knowledge of roofing tools, materials, and installation techniques.You work on varied projects that keep your skills sharp and give you the opportunity to see tangible results from your efforts. The environment supports learning on the job, with guidance and structure that help you grow your carpentry experience over time.You work on active construction sites focused on remodeling projects and deck construction. The role involves regular use of hand tools and basic construction equipment, as well as physical tasks such as lifting, carrying materials, and working outdoors or in partially finished structures. Hours follow a standard construction schedule, with an emphasis on punctuality and readiness to start work at the scheduled time. The setting is fast-paced and hands-on, requiring adherence to safety practices and a practical, work-ready attire suitable for construction activities.This is a Contract position based out of Seattle, WA.
