Adecco Staffing is working with a manufacturing company in Nashua, NH to bring on a CNC Machinists for 2nd shift. This is an urgent need, and the team is looking for experienced machinists who are comfortable with multiple machine setups per shift and working in a fast-paced environment.
Position: CNC Machinist
Shift: 2nd Shift, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Pay: $27.00–$32.00 per hour, depending on experience
Set up and run CNC milling and/or CNC lathe machines to meet tight manufacturing requirements
- Perform multiple machine setups per shift on CNC equipment, including Haas machines
- Prepare CAM files from CAD models, prints, and verbal instructions
- Ensure quick turnaround of parts while maintaining accuracy and quality standards
- Inspect parts using measuring tools such as calipers, height gauges, and protractors
- Make sound decisions related to part quality and acceptability
- Maintain organization of jobs, tooling, and material inventory
- Perform routine cleaning and general maintenance on machines and shop equipment
- Complete operator preventative maintenance during the shift
- Follow all quality, safety, and production procedures
- Escalate issues to shift lead or supervisor as needed
- Support daily production by identifying solutions to recurring issues
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 2+ years of experience as a CNC milling or CNC lathe machinist preferred
- Experience with machine setup and basic programming required
- Candidates coming from precision manufacturing programs (such as NCC) encouraged to apply
Working knowledge of CNC machining in a prototype or manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software including Mastercam and SolidWorks
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Commitment to continuous learning and process improvement
Pay Details: $27.00 to $32.00 per hour
